2.) 9/6 – Bojangles Southern 500 (Darlington)
The Southern 500 has finally been moved back to Labor Day weekend. For the first time since 2003 this race will once again take place on its historic weekend. NASCAR’s top stars will race “The Lady in Black” for 500 miles and earn their Darlington stripes. And yes, racing the track is just as important as racing the competition. A driver who misses their mark once could ruin their chances to win and have their name mentioned with the greats. This grueling race will test each driver physically as well as mentally as they try to conquer the track “Too Tough To Tame.”
