HOT – Kevin Harvick

How can you say that he is anything else heading into the start of the 2015 season? Sure, the Sprint Unlimited is an exhibition race but it’s also the first time that Harvick will be taking the track as the defending NASCAR champion.

Harvick should be primed to have a great year this season. Aside from winning the title in 2014, Harvick kept the pit crew that helped him win that championship. You might remember that before the chase SHR swapped the No. 4 pit crew for the No. 14 pit crew after weeks and weeks of brutal pit miscues. Initially after the season there was some concern about what might happen when Harvick was put back together with his old crew, well that concern is now out the window.

There might not be any points on the line this weekend at Daytona but you can bet that Harvick will be out there looking to make a statement. There has not been a back-to-back NASCAR champion since Jimmie Johnson and many are already predicting a repeat performance for Harvick.
