Kevin Harvick and Dale Jr. look good despite not winning yet.

NASCAR is mostly about winning but you can still look mighty impressive even without a victory and that has been the case for Harvick and Earnhardt Jr. after the first two races of the season.

Earnhardt Jr. won his duel race in Daytona before finishing the Daytona 500 in third place. This past weekend in Atlanta he took home another third place finish. Running in the top-five consistently is the place to be because when your car is good enough to do that, the wins will eventually happen.

Not to be outdone, Harvick has also put together a pair of top-five finishes to start the season. Harvick finished second at Daytona and second once again in Atlanta. Much like Earnhardt, top-five finishes are where it’s at for Harvick and the No. 4 team. When you have a car that is that fast and that good, wins will happen sooner than later.

If Harvick and Earnhardt Jr. continue to run (and finish) like this and still don’t win over the next few weeks, I still wouldn’t be concerned.
