The Worst Week Ever: Tony Stewart

On Sunday things were looking really good for Tony Stewart and the No. 14 team. After falling back to 25th early in the race, Stewart and his team made some adjustments and they were on the move. By the time the next set of pit stops came around Stewart was up to 15th. Shortly after that round of stops Stewart managed to break into the top-10 for the first time and moments later it all ended.

While racing in a tight pack Stewart appeared to driver the No. 14 in too hard and the result was him spinning and hitting the wall. He would finish the day in 39th which matches how the rest of his season has gone as well. Through four races Stewart has finishes of 42nd, 30th, 33rd and 39th. For the majority of the day it looked like Stewart was going to have a finish that he could build off of this week at Auto Club. Instead, Stewart and his team will be looking to stop the bleeding this weekend.

The good news for Stewart and his fans is that one win will change everything. The bad news is that this week Stewart had himself the worst week ever.
