Will Kevin Harvick pull off the West-Coast Sweep?

This weekend in Fontana Kevin Harvick will be looking for his third consecutive win and a sweep of the entire West Coast trip. Following wins in Las Vegas and Phoenix, Harvick has now finished all four races in 2015 inside of the top-two. More impressively, Harvick has finished seven consecutive races inside of the top-two dating back to 2014. The last driver to come close to that was Jeff Gordon in 1996 when he had six straight finishes inside of the top-two. The record for the most consecutive top-two finishes is 11 and that it held by Richard Petty. If Harvick is able to pick up No. 8 this weekend than it might be time for Petty to begin to sweat a little.

With his two win Harvick has guaranteed himself a spot in the chase regardless of what any of the other drivers do. His current success coupled with there being no pressure on him now should only make him that much more dangerous.
