Will the underdogs continue to shine?

Coming into the race this weekend Martin Truex Jr. and AJ Allmendinger are inside of the top-five in the point standings. Both drivers have gotten off to an amazing start this season and both drivers will look to continue that this weekend.

Allmendinger made the chase last season thanks to a win but many did not think he was going to be a factor this season. Boy, were they ever wrong! Truex Jr. struggled in 2014 but has been one of the best drivers in 2015 having finished every race inside of the top-10.

Other impressive drivers inside of the top-15 coming into this weekend are Kasey Kahne (4th), Paul Menard (11th) and Casey Mears (12th). All three of these drivers are coming off of sub-par performances last season but making a statement thus far this season.
