Ten Awesomely Bad NASCAR-Inspired Tattoos, Part Two

No. 10 – “Dale Earnhardt, I think”

One of the toughest tattoos to do is that of an actual person. Capturing the human characteristics of someone is no easy task in the most ideal situations. Trying to do it in the form of body art makes it even more challenging. That being said, it can be done and has been done by some very talented folks all over the world.

Unfortunately, the above tattoo is not an example of it being done.

The tattoo itself is nice and fairly detailed. The only real issue that it has is that it doesn’t look all that much like Dale Earnhardt. The shape of the head, the facial characteristics and the chin aren’t him and that’s a shame. The work is nicely done and the tattoo wouldn’t even be on this list if it just simply looked for like him.
