First Take: Three drivers are chasing history in Texas.

When the green flag waves in Texas Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr. will continue their march towards the NASCAR history books. Through six races in 2015 all three of them have scored a top-10 finish in each race. The record for the most top-10 finishes to start a season is 11 and that was set in 1990 by Morgan Shepherd. That season Shepherd opened the year with 11 consecutive top-10 finishes but only managed five over the final 18 races.

Obviously Harvick, Truex Jr. and Logano will be looking for a much different result. That being said, the next step for all of them is Texas where they will look to reach seven consecutive top-10 finishes to start the season.
