Rain, Rain Go Away

The forecast for Bristol is not looking very good right now.

Currently that forecast is calling for rain and a lot of it. The rain had already started on and off on Thursday and it looks as though it will be (and is) continuing on Friday. There is an 80 percent chance of rain around the track on Friday which could put qualifying in jeopardy of being rained out. As much as we all love qualifying, I am sure that we can handle it being rained out if it means the race will be fine.

Not so fast though.

The current forecast for race day isn’t all that better. Although a lot can change between now and Sunday, it currently looks like there is a 70 percent chance of rain for around the time the race is supposed to begin. That then jumps to an 80 percent chance of rain in the following couple of hours. Does anyone know that the opposite of a rain dance is?
