HOT – Jeff Gordon

Gordon did not get his 2015 season off to a good start. In the first three races of the year his best finish was 18th and that went along with a couple of finishes outside of the top-35. Since then Gordon and the No. 24 team have turned it on and the results have been noticed.

Coming into Bristol Gordon sits 13th in the standings which is the highest that he has been all season. Gordon is also coming off of his best finish of 2015 last weekend at Texas when he finished seventh. The 7th-place finish marks his fourth consecutive top-10 finish and was even more impressive considering that he managed it with a car that was not very good.

On Sunday Gordon will have some work to do if he is going to continue his own personal top-10 streak. Gordon was not very good in qualifying as he battled a loose car. The No. 24 teams seems to have found more speed in practice but we will have to wait and see if that’s the case on Sunday.
