Good Week – Danica Patrick

Once again Danica Patrick is having herself a good week.

Patrick came into Bristol with the momentum of three consecutive top-20 finishes pushing her. One of those top-20 finishes just so happened to be a top-10 a couple of weeks ago at Martinsville. Despite the success of the past few weeks there were some (including myself) that thought Patrick might struggle in Bristol.

To be fair, she did struggle at times. Patrick was caught up in a few wrecks (none of which were he fault though) and her car did get some damage. However, Patrick battled to stay on or around the lead lap for the majority of the night and when it was all said and done she came home with another top-10 finish. This top-10 finish gives her the most such finishes of any female in the history of the sport. Her strong run at Bristol also moves her up to 13th in the point standings.

It was a pretty good week for Patrick if you ask me. Oh and BONUS, her boyfriend had a top-five finish and they celebrated with waffles.
