Good Week – Justin Allgaier

How about some love for Justin Allgaier and the No. 51 team?

Allgaier had his career-best finish in Bristol two weekends ago and this past weekend in Richmond he was turning heads once again. Allgaier ended up finishing the race 18th, which is good for a team of his size. The impressive part for Allgaier was that he was running in the top-five late in the race after a caution fell his way. More impressive was the fact that Allgaier held his own up front and might have had another top-10 finish had the cautions not come so many times at the end of the race.

In 2014 Allgaier was the best rookie behind Kyle Larson and Austin Dillon. In 2015 Allgaier hasn’t quite hit their level but he has excelled well in his Sophomore year. If Allgair continues to turn impressive runs he might find himself in a position to get into a better ride later on in his career.
