Worst Week Ever – Carl Edwards

What in the world is going on with Carl Edwards?

There have been races in 2015 where Edwards has had some bad luck and the result of those races has been poor finishes. In Bristol Edwards was running 2nd in the final laps before wrecking, stuff like that happens.

On Sunday in Richmond Edwards and the No. 19 team looked lost. The fact that the race was run during the day might have been a contributing factor, his teammate Denny Hamlin also struggled. Edward started the day mid-pack and he never really went anywhere. The fact that Edwards finished 19th is impressive given the fact that his car might not have even been worthy of a top-20 finish.

Hopefully Edwards and the No. 19 team can figure things out this weekend in Talladega. The move to JGR was supposed to be a championship-winning move for Edwards and thus far it has been anything but that. In nine races in 2015 Edwards has one top-10 finish.
