NASCAR Needs To Stop Changing Things

I tend to side with NASCAR on a lot of things but even I’m of the belief that the constant changes need to come to an end.

One of the things that fans get on NASCAR for is that they feel NASCAR is always changing the rules and always manipulating the system. For the most part, NASCAR’s changes have made sense this season. That being said, there has to be a better way to do this. NASCAR had the entire off season to change and tweak things and they did do stuff with that time.

NASCAR has also made a series of changes since the season (which is only nine races old) has begun. If certain things aren’t working are a major issue (qualifying at Daytona) NASCAR should make changes in-season. If things are just bothering NASCAR and aren’t a huge concern than NASCAR needs to hold off till maybe the following year.

NASCAR changing and tweaking rules on almost a weekly basis makes it seem like they are just winging it and throwing rules at the wall in an effort to see what sticks. NASCAR is doing enough to lose fans as it is, changing the rules on a regular basis is not helping.
