HOT – Jimmie Johnson

Jimmie Johnson has been impressive over his last four races with finishes of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 2nd.

Johnson’s two wins on the season have clinched his spot in the chase and it would seem that he is more than determined to add a few more wins to his total before the season is over. Johnson’s hot start coupled with a similar start by Kevin Harvick have many analysts wondering early on whether or not the 2015 title will come down to the two of them. If that’s the case Harvick will be chasing his second title while Johnson will be looking for his seventh which would tie him with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt for the most all time.

Johnson has had success at Kansas in the past and will be looking to continue that trend this weekend. Johnson has two wins at the track to go along with an average finishing spot of 9th.
