NOT – Carl Edwards

Another race and another less than stellar finish for Edwards and the No. 19 team.

10 races into the 2015 season and Edwards has one top-10 finish and it just so happened to be a 10th-place finish. Since that 10th-place finish he hasn’t run better than 19th over the last three races. This past weekend in Talladega he had his second-worst finish of the season when he took the checkered flag in 32nd.

Not all of the poor finishes in 2015 are indicative of the equipment of effort being put forth by Edwards and his team. Edwards has come to tracks with top-10 cars only to have luck or a bad break take them to a poor finish. That being said, the season is ticking away and we are only a few races away from being halfway to the chase. Edwards and the No. 19 team need to right the ship and find some consistency.

At this point winning should be the last thing on their minds. Edwards needs to string together some top-10 and top-five finishes, once he does that the wins are sure to follow.
