NASCAR: Who Had The Best And Worst Week Ever (Michigan)

Good Week – Trevor Bayne
It’s not every week that you see Trevor Bayne finish inside of the top-10 these days. In fact, Bayne’s top-10 finish on Sunday was his first of the 2015 season. Bayne’s previous best finish of the season was 18th if you don’t count the Sprint Showdown in which he ran 7th on that night.
2015 has been a tough run thus far for the former winner of the Daytona 500. Prior to this season Bayne had run with the Wood Brothers where he picked up his only win in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (Daytona 500). Despite not winning any other races with the No. 21 team, Bayne still turned in several solid performances. When he moved to join the No. 6 team and Roush Fenway Racing many predicted that Bayne would have success now that he had a full-time ride.
Unfortunately, success has been hard to come by through 15 races. Hopefully Bayne and the No. 6 team will be able to build on the good week they had in Michigan and continue that success after the off-week.
