Worse Week – Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch wrecked early in the Quicken Loans 400 and the result was a last-place finish. The 43rd-place finish was his second finish of 36th or worse since he returned to the Sprint Cup Series in Charlotte earlier this season.

The finish hurts even more because Busch and the No. 18 team are behind the eight ball when it comes to making the chase. Finishing last on Sunday only earned them one point in their quest to get into the top-30 in points before the chase begins. Busch now only has 11 races remaining to not only win a race but to also earn enough points to be 30th or better in the standings.

Given the two poor finishes that Busch has already had one would have to assume that he cannot have anymore of those if he wants to keep his hopes for a championship in 2015 alive.
