3. William Byron

The one thing I love about William Byron is the fact that he is relatively new to stock car racing considering he started driving about two years ago. He leaned the ropes of racing through iRacing, and has absolutely exploded onto the scene. What that means is that his ceiling is so much higher potential wise compared to somebody who has been racing since they were in diapers. Right now Byron leads the K&N East Series Point Standings and has already won twice. I see some serious magic from this kid and I would be willing to bet he is my undisputed number one prospect in a year or so.

Byron has been on an absolute tear in not only in the K&N East Series but also in late models as well. He won the CARS Superlate Model race at Hickory this year beating 2014 Xfinity Series champion Chase Elliott. 2015 has been an explosion of a year for William Byron if he can pick up the K&N East Series tittle this season I wouldn’t be surprised to see a huge name team lock him into either a Camping World Truck Series truck or Xfinity Series car next season.

From my perspective, this kid has the highest ceiling in racing right now.
