Playoff Formats for Camping World and Xfinity Series.

All sports need some kind of interesting playoff format at the end of the year, and NASCAR is no exception. NASCAR already made sweeping changes in 2014 to their playoff system, expanding the field to 16 drivers and breaking The Chase down into four different rounds.

Although the changes brought up debates of NASCAR creating artificial excitement for their end of the year playoff system, it has already proven itself as one of the best playoff formats that NASCAR has come up with in years. Now if only they can do the same for their lower series of completion. Maybe not to the same extent of what they did in The Sprint Cup Series, but something that will bunch up the Top-ten drivers in points and make things exciting for the finish of the season.

Even if The Camping World Truck Series and Xfinity Series just have a five race playoff with only The Top-five drivers in the point standings, it would still be a massive improvement over what they are doing now and would garner so much more fan and media attention at the end of the year. Not to mention that it will be exciting to watch!
