NASCAR: Five Scenarios for Clint Bowyer in 2016

5. Stewart-Haas Racing
UPDATE – No word on the status of Tony Stewart beyond 2016 but it seems as though the connection to SHR begins with HScott Motorsports who has denied adding a third car to their stable.
Obviously the most far-fetched on our list but don’t rule out Clint Bowyer heading to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2016 as a possibility. With Danica Patrick inking a sponsorship with Nature’s Bakery and signing a multiple year deal with Stewart Haas, past 2015, that rules the #10 car out as an option. Although Kurt Busch does not have a deal past the 2015 season, team co-owner Gene Haas has said multiple times that he will remain with the organization.
That leaves the #14 car with Tony Stewart as a possibility. Stewart has the ability and has earned the respect to run as long as he likes being the teams co-owner and so successful throughout his career. He is 44 years old though and has struggled ever since the beginning of the 2013 season. Bowyer is also very good friends with former RCR teammate, Kevin Harvick, who drives for the organization. With the “silly season” we are seeing in NASCAR this year, do not rule out Clint Bowyer heading to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2016 as a possibility.
