4. Limit Cup Efforts 

Cup involvement in the Xfinity Series is another reason why the division hasn’t been able to thrive. The fact that they win almost every race doesn’t help either. Granted, they draw in fans, money, and sponsors, but it’s a little sad that they cannot thrive individually.

One of the sad (and sickening) truths about this is that these sponsors are pouring money into making sure their car gets a win. They don’t want a skilled up-and-comer unless he can win immediately. Thus, hard-working teams are falling by the wayside because they don’t have a Brad Keselowski or a Kyle Busch to win for them. It’s a business first and a sport second, but it would be nice to see underdog drivers get better chances at winning.
