The Wrecks Cleared The Way, Literally

Shortly after Gordon fans begin to settle on what they thought would be a good finish, the skies opened and it seemed like this was indeed going to be Gordon’s day.

Kevin Harvick had to pit to repair damage, Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski and Kurt Busch were involved in a wreck that Gordon barely made it through. Kenseth then took out Joey Logano who was leading the race a handful of laps later. The result of all of this was Gordon with the lead and less than 50 laps to go.

At this point you were giving Gordon a pep talk out loud about how this race is his and it’s time to get it done. At this point you were ready to see your favorite driver win for the first time in 2015.

Gordon Emotion Meter: Wildly Optimistic (again) – You were thinking of things like destiny at this point, don’t lie.
