Kyle Busch Or Joey Logano Will Win

Jimmie Johnson has owned Texas in recent years but it will not be his day on Sunday. Instead the day will belong to either a surging Kyle Busch or a recovering Joey Logano.

Since 2013 Busch and Logano have actually had better average finishes in Texas than Johnson, despite Johnson winning three times and them only winning once each. Below is a look at those numbers.

  • Logano (last 5 races) – Average finish 5.00
  • Busch (last 4 races) – Average finish 5.25
  • Johnson (last five races) – Average finish 6.80

I believe that all three of these cars will be up towards the front come the end of the race but Busch and Logano need the win more than Johnson does and that will fuel one of them to get it. As for the other two? They will finish in the top-10 if not the top-five at Texas this weekend.
