No. 5 – Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch and Greg Biffle (Daytona)

The good thing about the Sprint Unlimited is that it’s not a points race which means if you tear up your stuff it’s not the end of the world. The bad thing about the Sprint Unlimited is that it’s at Daytona and drivers often end up tearing up their stuff.

On Lap 67 Tony Stewart got turned hard into Greg Biffle. Biffle then slammed into the inside wall before being hit again by the No. 41 machine of Kurt Busch. The contact between Biffle and Busch was something that could not be avoided as both drivers were just along for the ride at that point.

The speed in which Biffle hits the wall though truly is scary. Thank goodness there was a SAFER barrier on that wall because hitting it that hard without one could have been bad for Biffle.
