Changes Made: A total of 7900 linear feet of SAFER barrier was added, now covering the entire front and back straightaways beginning with the 2016 racing season.

Comment: This might now be the hottest ticket on the “western swing.” The competitiveness of the races the last two years has been amazing, and now the integrity of the facility matches the on-track product. Track President Dave Allen added in a press release following the additions:

"“We’re constantly evaluating our facility and procedures to improve track safety for drivers, fans or anyone else at our events. Every track is different, but we learn from all incidents.”"
