No. 5  – AJ Allmendinger

Since being reinstated in a full time ride, the 34 year old AJ Allmendinger came off a career year in 2014 where he picked up one win, two top 5’s and five top 10’s. That same success did not transfer over to the 2015 season as he failed to reach victory lane, he did however score three top 10’s in an otherwise dismal season for the “Dinger”. Logging three DNF’s throughout the season and his lowest (Full Season only) Average Start since 2009 where he reached a low 21.6 with his average finish of 23.1 being his lowest full season finish of his career, Allmendinger is looking to turn his bad luck around in 2016 and make the Chase for JTG Daugherty Racing once again. The addition of Randall Burnett to Allmendinger’s pit box and Ernie Cope overseeing the development of the cars and how they are built, Allmendinger is sure to impress in 2016 and hopefully score two more NASCAR wins, both at Road Courses. Right?
