NASCAR: 15 Bold Predictions For 2016 Sprint Cup Season
Jimmie Johnson Wins No. 7
2016 is going to be a historic year for Jimmie Johnson and the No. 48 team when they capture their seventh NASCAR championship. The seventh title will tie him for the most all-time with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt.
Since winning his sixth title in 2013, Johnson has had a run of bad luck come Chase time.
In 2016, Johnson and Knaus are going to find a way to avoid that trouble. The duo has always been one of those pairings in NASCAR that always figures things out before the rest of the field. In 2016 they will be on top of the new downforce package a lot sooner than some of the other teams and that is going to go a long way for them.
