In fact, Gordon was the first driver in NASCAR history to ever cross the $100 million mark. Gordon brought a different appeal with him when he came to NASCAR. That appeal coupled with his talent made him the face of NASCAR as it was reaching its peak in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Since then Gordon has remained one of the faces of the sport and his bank account proves it.
