How Many Different Winners Will There Be Over The First 26 Races?

  • Christopher Olmstead – The first 26 races of the season will see 14 different winners which means only two spots in the Chase will be decided by points.
  • Jason Higgins – I’ll go with 11.  I think one team will hog a lot of early wins as teams adjust to the new rules, and when we get to the late summer many drivers will be looking for their first win of 2016.
  • Joseph Shelton – Eight. Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Kurt Busch.
  • Mike Hutton – We will have 12 winners in the first 26 races, and all of the marquee events (Daytona 500, Coca-Cola 600, Brickyard 400 and Southern 500 will have unlikely winners.).
  • Cole Mentzel – There will be 10 different winners over the first 26 races this season. Recently, we have gotten used to seeing the best of the best dominate the regular season and I believe we will see that trend continue for 2016.
  • Martin Feigen – 18 winners and two drivers miss the chase with wins.
