Number 3: Indianapolis – July 29, 2007 – Allstate 400 At The Brickyard

Significance: Second Brickyard Win, Battle With Harvick

Commentary: If there is one thing more special to a native Hoosier than winning a race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, it can only be winning there more than once.  Coming just two years after his first win there, Stewart repeated the feat in remarkably similar fashion – prevailing in a late-race duel with one of his closest friends and fellow competitors. This time, it was Kevin Harvick with whom he battled.

In a classy and somewhat controversial move because of some adult language used on national TV following the race, Stewart dedicated this win to his fans, who “have to sit up there and put up with all the b******t” each week.”
