Helping Hand at “Hotlanta.”

We all know that Atlanta Motor Speedway is one of the fastest tracks on the sprint cup series schedule, but did they know it’s also one of the most charitable as well. The 1.5 mile speedway was even used as a shelter area for Floridians that were fleeing from Hurricane Francis in 2004.

While there were no indoor facilities for the refugees to stay in while they waiting out the storm, Atlanta Motor Speedway was able to supply RV’s in the parking lot of the facility.
