14. 2007 Food City 500: Kyle Busch beats Jeff Burton at Bristol

Desperate men try desperate things, and that’s exactly what ended up happening in the closing laps of the 2008 Food City 500. Kyle Busch was leading the field to the green with only two laps to go, but Jeff Burton, who restarted third, made a quick move to the outside to pass another car and then set his sights on the young Hendrick Driver.

Although Burton tried everything from a bump and run to an intense drag race to the start-finish line, he still came up short against the young driver and Kyle Busch ended up with the win. Busch’s celebration didn’t last long however, as the race winner was heavily criticized by NASCAR and the media for stating that the new COT car that was raced that day sucked.
