Loser: Toyota

In 2015, Joe Gibbs Racing established themselves as a current powerhouse in the Cup Series. With Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth and champion Kyle Busch completing successful seasons, it was obvious that JGR was ready to dominate the scene.

Though the first couple weeks of the season played into their favor, Las Vegas was not as kind. Busch had the best Toyota all day long as he nearly won the race before being passed by Brad Keselowski late, leading to a 4th-place finish.

As for the other Toyotas, Martin Truex Jr. finished 11th while Edwards and Hamlin finished 18th and 19th. You had to go all the way down to 37th to find Matt Kenseth, who got loose in Turn 1, collecting Chase Elliott in a crash on Lap 225.

Though the Toyota cars will be favorites in many races this season, they did not have any Vegas luck on Sunday afternoon.
