3. Dale Jr. Repeats His Daytona Troubles

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his nation of fans were hoping to see him in victory lane at the end of the Geico 500.With a strong showing during qualifying and getting back his favorite car, Amelia, Jr. looked to be one of the top drivers at Talladega and started off the race strong.

But instead Dale wrecked twice, the first time being very similar to what happened to him at the Daytona 500. By Lap 50 Jr. found himself getting loose and hitting the outside wall, taking teammate Kasey Kahne with him.

Then he would bring out the caution at Lap 110 after he got into a second accident, this time getting clipped by Carl Edwards and totaling Amelia.

Hopefully Jr. and the 88 team can learn something from Talladega and get back to being one of the best super speedway teams in NASCAR when the Sprint Cup season visits Daytona and Talladega again.
