Auto Club Speedway

If IndyCar visits Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, then the series can bring back the IndyCar Triple Crown and that is reason enough.

NASCAR tried the Labor Day weekend race in California from 2004-2008 with moderate success but some can argue that lack in attendance can be attributed to NASCAR beginning to race at Auto Club Speedway twice in a year.

The drivers were not too pleased with the action on the track but the racing made for a great show for the fans. IndyCar’s main priority is driver and fan safety so the chances of this race landing another date on the calendar so shortly after last year is slim. However, working with the teams and the track to find a solution to the speed problem is not out of the equation.
