Stats at Charlotte:

  • Wins: 1
  • Top-5’s: 5
  • Top-10’s: 8
  • Laps Led: 247

Joey Logano is known as a great 1.5-mile racer and he’s shown that at Charlotte over the years. He captured his first win at the track just last season, when he led 227 of 224 laps in the Chase during his sweep of the Contender 12 round.

Though it took Logano seven years to get his first win at of NASCAR’s oldest tracks, he still showed why he’s one of the best active drivers at Charlotte. In 14 starts, he’s finished below 13th just two times and his average finish of 9.6 is the best among all active drivers.

Logano is coming off of a win at Charlotte last weekend in the All-Star race, where he won $1 million. That gives him wins is his last two visits to the track.

He’s still looking for a win to clinch a spot in the Chase, and with his history at the track, Charlotte just might be the place for him to get it done.

Joey Logano is your favorite heading into the weekend.
