Winner: Brad Keselowski

After winning the pole for the race, it was set to be a great weekend at Pocono for Brad Keselowski. However, once the race started, things did not look good for the 2012 champion and past Pocono winner.

He made a quick drop down outside of the top-5 as drivers like Joey Logano, Matt Kenseth and Kevin Harvick took advantage. Things got even worse for Keselowski after he was penalized for an unapproved body modification, forcing him to start in the rear for the restart that was coming up.

Despite a setback, he got to work and made up all of the ground that he lost, making his way back into the top-10.

As the race approached the final laps, Keselowski was able to make a late pass on a fuel-saving Chase Elliott and get to 3rd, where he would go on to finish the race after failing to pass Dale Earnhardt Jr.

By utilizing the wild restarts at Pocono, Keselowski was able to get himself back into the race and put himself in perfect position to win it, as he was deemed “good” on fuel while most other drivers were trying to save.
