Fun in the Rain

Unlike NASCAR or any other oval racing out there, the 24 Hours of Le Mans races in the rain. But in qualifying for this weekend’s race, thunderstorms and very heavy rain forced the session to be delayed some, while Porsche would end on pole for the prestigious race.

As any racecar driver will tell you, trying to stay entertained during a weather delay is an uphill battle to say the least. From goofing around with teammates or other crew members, to catching some much needed sleep ahead of some restless hours, entertainment options are often few and far between. However, on Thursday night in France, the safety car driver showed off their drifting skills, providing a few minutes of awesome excitement in the wet weather.
