Winner: Brad Keselowksi’s Restrictor Plate Résumé

The Cup Series features a few great restrictor plate racers, with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Denny Hamlin leading the way. After Saturday’s race at Daytona, there’s a new name to add to the list: Brad Keselowski.

In his seven-year full-time career, Keselowski has now earned five restrictor plate victories, four at Talladega and one at Daytona.

Coming into Saturday night, Keselowski had never won at Daytona before, but that certainly didn’t appear to be the case after watching him lead 115 of 160 laps to earn Team Penske’s 100th win.

Even when he had to defend his lead in overtime, Keselowski managed to work the lines with perfection to hold on for a big win.

We saw it from him at Talladega earlier in the season and we saw it again this weekend at Daytona. Brad Keselowski has the skills to take over at restrictor plate tracks.
