NASCAR and commercials have been the talk of the town in the aftermath of the Coke Zero 400. With that in mind why not take it to the next level and discuss which commercials during the NASCAR telecast were the best?

I know we’ve tried for years to take back our sport and make it great again, but it just seems that NASCAR isn’t getting the point and we might as well just get used to that fact. With that being said, and with NASCAR unwilling to change if they wanted us to watch a race that was 49% percent commercials and 51% race, then let’s just give NASCAR want they want and focus on the commercials.

See! That wasn’t so hard. All we have to do and stop watching the sport for the actual racing, the very thing that companies pay money to air their commercials alongside, and just have  a marathon of commercials for three hours. Sure, NASCAR could air a few ten minute periods of racing action, but who would want to when there is so much money to be made by just airing commercials.

There you have it! It’s not about the racing anymore. No, NASCAR made that fact perfectly clear a long time and it looks like things will never change. So why not just sit back, relax and examine what NASCAR really wants us to focus our time on? Commercials! Why stop there? We could even dedicate a whole article to the top-five commercials played during Saturday’s Coke Zero 400!
