Kyle Busch Wins The Quaker State 400

Forget about the new rule package or the repaved surface, these things will barely have an impact on the race anyway, but even if they did it wouldn’t change who already dominates at this track.

If you’re looking for the favorite driver to win on Saturday night, look no further than Kyle Busch.

Besides for his astounding average finish of 3.80 at Kentucky, Busch won this race last year and also won at this track in 2011.

His worst finish at Kentucky is 10th.

Running well at a track isn’t enough though to solidly say someone will win. How well a driver is running during the season can also impact how well they do at a favorite track, and Busch is one of two drivers to win three races this season.

In fact he continues to be one of the top drivers this year, and at one point Busch and the 18 team were the group to beat.

While other drivers have caught up to him in the standings, he is clearly carrying solid momentum with him into Kentucky and will be the driver everyone is watching.

He’s also racing in both the Camping World Truck Series and Xfinity Series races at Kentucky, giving him a little extra experience on the newly repaved surface before the Sprint Cup Series race starts.

With his fantastic history at Kentucky and given how well he’s been running this season, Kyle Busch is easily the favorite to win the Quaker State 400.
