Contender No. 3: Kyle Busch

Stats at New Hampshire:

  • Wins: 2
  • Top-5’s: 8
  • Top-10’s: 11
  • Laps Led: 555

We all know just how good Kyle Busch has been in the past year, but there’s a few specific things that stand out about his racing at Loudon.

Busch won his first race at the track after leading 107 laps back in 2006. He’s had some inconsistent finishes there over the years, but he’s been locked in since 2013. His past six races have featured three straight second-place finishes, an eighth place finish and a win in the July race last season.

His win last season came in the midst of an incredible run where he won three races in a row. Busch made a crazy move, sliding out in front of Keselowski and around Harvick, to take the lead in the final 50 laps.

Busch continues to operate as one of the best drivers in NASCAR today, and with a defining moment at New Hampshire last season, he knows what it takes to get to Victory Lane at The Magic Mile.
