Loser: Martin Truex Jr.

It happened again. Martin Truex Jr. looked dominant before falling to another unfortunate issue.

After a weird situation in Kentucky last weekend, with a late penalty leading to a 10th-place finish, Truex came back and looked better than ever at New Hampshire.

After he was able to get out ahead of Kyle Busch, who led 133 laps, Truex took over and went on to lead 123 laps himself.

He looked like he had the absolute best car on the track, as he was able to hold off other drivers and keep his lead. Then disaster struck.

Race winner Matt Kenseth got around Truex and on Lap 258, he suffered a broken shifter, which left his transmission stuck in fourth gear. He was forced to get over and let cars pass him on the restarts but when he got a decent stretch at the end of the race, he was able to make up some ground and ended up turning a disappointing day into a 16th-place finish.

It just seems like Martin Truex Jr. can never catch a break, and he had to endure another brutal ending this weekend.
