Winner: JGR Dominance

Joe Gibbs Racing was back to their old ways at New Hampshire. At one point in the race, all four of their drivers (Busch, Kenseth, Hamlin, Edwards), plus their affiliate (Truex Jr.) owned the top-5 spots.

In the end, Matt Kenseth was able to pull ahead and make it back-to-back wins at the track, after beating out teammates like Busch and Truex Jr. at separate points in the race.

It hadn’t been all successful for Joe Gibbs Racing though. Coming into the weekend, their team hadn’t won a race since Kenseth’s win at Dover.

With seven team wins on the season so far, they are in perfect position to end Chevrolet’s 13-year manufacturers championship win streak and establish Toyota as the dominant manufacturer in the Cup Series.
