Race on the road course

Formula 1, IndyCar and the Grand-Am Sports Car Series have all raced at the Indianapolis Grand Prix Circuit. NASCAR on road courses have become the next, safer, just as unpredictable and exciting, version of NASCAR on restrictor plate tracks.

The Grand Prix Circuit offers NASCAR a third road course race on the calendar at a track with the most recognizable name in all of Motorsports. Create a triple header weekend with the Camping World Truck Series, NASCAR XFINITY Series and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

Or, if you are more of a purist, have the trucks and XFINITY Series race at Lucas Oil Raceway on the Friday and Saturday night prior and then race at the Grand Prix Circuit on Sunday with the Cup Series.

Sure, it’s different but 70 laps around the road course will provide more excitement than 160 laps around the oval.
