No. 2 – Tony Stewart

Like Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart has won nine times in the Chase in his NASCAR career. The difference however is the fact that Stewart is the keeper of one of the greatest Chase performances of all-time.

In 2011 Stewart entered the NASCAR Chase with a team that was in disarray. Stewart had already made it known that his crew chief would be leaving after the season and that other changes might be in the works as well. After all of that came out, Stewart then won five of the next 10 races on his way to winning his third NASCAR title.

In 2016 Stewart will enter the NASCAR Chase for the final time in his career in search of his fourth championship. Two months ago this would have seemed like an insurmountable task but Stewart has been running well as of late and is gaining momentum as the Chase is approaching.
