NASCAR: Ranking The Most Successful Chase Drivers Of All-Time
No. 7 – Matt Kenseth
Matt Kenseth has won six times in the NASCAR Chase and to be honest he should be credited with being the cause for the Chase being created.
In 2003 Kenseth won his first and only NASCAR title and he did so by only winning once the entire season. Kenseth and his No. 17 team used consistency to their advantage in 2003 and the result was a title. After that season NASCAR felt the need to spice up their championship and the NASCAR Chase was born.
Kenseth’s six wins in the Chase would be good enough to put him just outside of the top-five all-time. This season Kenseth will be looking to add to that number as he searches for his second NASCAR championship.
