NASCAR: Ranking The Most Successful Chase Drivers Of All-Time
No. 4 – Carl Edwards
Carl Edwards has won eight times in the NASCAR Chase and despite all of those wins, he has yet to win his first championship. Edwards came the closest to winning a title back in 2011 when he and Tony Stewart tied in the final standings. The tie-breaker went to Stewart and Edwards finished second in the standings, just missing out on a championship.
Edwards, currently in his second season with JGR will be looking to buck the trend in the Chase this season. Not only will he be looking to add to his Chase win total, but Edwards and the No. 19 team will be looking to being home their first title. Unfortunately for Edwards, he will most likely have to go through his teammate to do so as Kyle Busch will most likely be the favorite to win the title come the start of the Chase.
