NASCAR: The Five Funniest Pre-Race Moments
Thank God For My Hot Wife
NASCAR has done invocations during their pre-race ceremonies for decades now, but there have honestly been a few that are more memorable than others. One in particular was during an XFINITY race in Nashville where Pastor Joe Nelms gave fans and drivers a prayer they would never forget. Not only did Nelms thank the lord for the Chevy’s the Toyota’s and The Dodges, he also thanked him for his smoking hot wife.
If all that wasn’t awesome enough, Mr. Nelms ended his prayer by saying boogity, boogity, boogity, amen, which drew smiles and outright laughs from drivers and crew members alike. While the media later picked up on and made fun of the prayer a bit, true NASCAR fans enjoyed every minute of it and probably wished that more race day prayers were like that.
